Receptions
From 'Nessun Dorma' to 'My Way' and Joe Dolan to Ed Sheeran...
The ' reception' part of any event is really important as this
sets the tone for whole day/night. Music plays a vital role in this regard !
The music should be 'low-keyed' at the start of the event thus allowing guests to mingle, chat and relax.
I play alot of medleys (ie..6 to 8 songs together) as this allows the event to flow and eliminates music stopping and starting.
However as the event builds up so too should the tempo of the music and should send guests happily on their way to the meal !
